Holland & Barrett is one of the largest health and wellness retailers located in Europe. They provide their customers with vitamins, minerals, health supplements, specialist food, and now natural beauty.   They have recently expanded to not only the UK but also China, India, and the Netherlands. Holland & Barrett offer their customers over 9,000 products to choose from to give them the most selection for health and wellness. With over 145 years of experience the company has received awards like "Natural Beauty Retail Award 2016" and "2016 Retail Week Specialty Retailer of the Year Award". Peter Aldis, CEO of Holland & Barrett, stated in an interview that:  If you went and asked 100 people tomorrow where to buy natural beauty products you'd be lucky if 10 of them said Holland & Barrett. H&M has opened over 4,550 locations as of August 2017. They take pride in being successful by offering a value proposition of settling on cheap prices with a wide arrange of selection. H&M isn't only about the low prices but they built a reputation for being a brand of high fashion and top designers. The new construction on the online distribution center has customers livid with delayed orders. Many consumers fear that clothes ordered 3 weeks ago will be out of fashion by the time their packages arrive. Along with new installments H&M also plans on using only recycled materials by the year 2030. Not everyone is convinced considering the rumor of H&M burning unsold clothes has been confirmed following the documentary on Danish TV. My First Marketing Assignment

Topic 1 I wanted to enroll in Marketing with Rob because I really enjoying marketing at my job. I do struggle with it though so I think this course will be a great way to further my knowledge and capability in this particular subject. When I finish with my LBCC classes I intend to go to OSU to finish up my marketing degree. I am a business major with intentions to narrow into the marketing field after my classes at Linn Benton. I really enjoy the marketing side of my manager position at my current job. Also my coworker that I admire went to school for marketing and she really enjoyed it which is why I decided I should go into marketing as well. I am most interested in learning the media side of marketing. I haven't ever been big on social media until recently.
